We are a
cardiology practice located in Melrose Park, Illinois and are about 10 miles directly west of the Chicago Loop.
Dr Jeffrey Shanes M.D. and
Dr. Ajanta De M.D. practice at Loyola-Gottlieb Memorial and Elmhurst Memorial Hospitals. Our goals are to:
- Detect atherosclerosis in its earliest stages
- Prevent its progression and
- Use the latest techniques including coronary and peripheral arterial stenting to improve our patients' quality of life.
We believe that continuity of care is critical for our patients. Therefore, procedures and follow-up are performed by the same cardiologist. We participate in many
cardiovascular clinical trials, and incorporate the newest techniques and treatments into our practice in order to fulfill our number one goal which is:
